Diary

People who just regurgitate words and stitch together a bunch of academic words while name-dropping philosophers do not demonstrate any understanding of anything but pretend to be some visionary genius by dressing like poets and name-dropping pop psychology books and obscure French pseudo-philosophers.

Celebration of life transitioning into celebration of death

Through our tears, piss, and sweat, we return our waters to the ocean.

People always talk about the weather and society. I find those very motivating as starting points; clouded, heavy, but eerie, I try to think of the ability of storytelling through strokes. Drawing has allowed me to capture this transitional phase, which is the very present.

Being in a transitional period will have you obsessively reevaluating every decision in your life to the point of actual insanity…

Let’s sit here quietly.

I will change my entire life by next week.

I wish for what is forbidden.

A storm has been blowing at the edges of the site, and years of disinvestment have accelerated the process of decay. Dust swirls down the rooms, and ash and broken glass are the colours of its abandonment. The decomposing walls suffer from neglect as dust swirls down the rooms, accumulating on surfaces and drifting against windows; seems to have triggered a new stage of life for the lichen and fungi, which appears to have been sprouting and thriving. — Caitlin DeSilvey

Things I have been seeing recently:

Foxes with their tails cut

People throwing garbage from their car windows

Lots of silver coins lying on the floor while cycling (I don’t pick them up; I should)

Boys with small ears

Dead moths in bathrooms

Broken toys

Overwhelming amount of plastic everywhere; is plastic absolutely everywhere?

Feeling:

Breeze in rooms with no windows?!

Body quickly changing temperature (out of the blue)

Sad about the world but happy knowing there are actual good people out there

But the number of shitty people outweighs the people doing good........
